Having evolved from countless earlier civilizations, the medieval Feast of Fools was an insane debauchery during which boy kings were appointed and demanded donations, the most deficient fools were elected judges, priests and nuns ran sexually amok, and people sang The Song Of The Ass as a child rode a donkey into church, up to the altar, while the congregants would “hee-haw” their responses to the priest’s sermon.
