RUSSIAN TORTURER IDENTIFIED?
July 29, 2022 -Durt Fibo

Yesterday a video appeared on the internet showing Russian soldiers apparently castrating a bound Ukrainian, who was dressed in fatigues. The investigative journalism group Bellingcat said the video was most likely genuine. Bellingcat also stirred up other internet detectives when it suggested that the Russian in the video who did the maiming looked like a man seen in footage from the Azot chemicals plant in Sievierodonetsk previously broadcast by the Kremlin-owned RT.
Information did indeed pour in, and to date the Russian in the video has been tentatively identified as Vitaly Valerievich Aroshinov. He is with the “Akhmat” mercenaries.

The most credible and comprehensive identification comes from NEXTA, a Belarusian dissenting media organization, known for it’s reliable coverage of the 2020–2021 protests in Belarus. Today they published Aroshinov’s personal data in detail on the NEXTA Telegram channel. I have translated it from the original Russian (including the writer’s angry words) and am publishing it here, so that others may check the information, and, if possible, find the suspected perpetrator:
“The bastard who tortured a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to death in a particularly cruel way will be found and liquidated!
I publish photos, videos and its data.
