Giovanni Ferrero surpassed Mark Zuckerberg in the ranking of the 500 richest men on earth, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. The Italian billionaire, who controls 75% of the Ferrero group and 100% of the CTH Invest group, overtook the founder of Facebook on Thursday 27 October, 24 hours after the release of the glum quarterly accounts of Meta Platforms. Ferrero International S.A makes, among other confections, Ferrero Rocher, Mon Cheri, and Nutella –a thick chocolate-hazelnut cream all Europe loves to spread on everything except corndogs, which they do not have.
