A jury in The Washington, DC trial of Oath Keepers warlord Stewart Rhodes has just returned a verdict of guilty of seditious conspiracy, which can be seen as an invitation to 20 years in a federal penitentiary. One more member of the Oath Keepers –of his four co-defendants– was also convicted of the same crime.

To fellow Oath Keepers and those of similar epizootics, Rhodes has led a heroic life; a youthful paratrooper honorably discharged from the army for breaking his back, coercing his new Mormon wife to become a stripper so as to pay his way through college, and shooting himself in the face by dropping a handgun. –This is the man who said he wished he’d come armed with rifles to the January 6 Beer Belly Putsch.
